Avocado smoothie

If you fancy a creamy smoothie packed with vitamins and healthy oils, then try this avocado smoothie with avocado, spinach and lemon juice (Serves 2).


Preparation time: 10 minutes

  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
  • 1 handful baby spinach, rinsed
  • 4 dl almond milk
  • 2 medjool dates, pitted
  • ½ tsp ground cardamom
  • ½-1 lemon, juice of
  • 1 tsp chia seed


Prepare the ingredients and use a stick blender or liquidiser to blend all the ingredients into a smooth and creamy smoothie. Drink immediately, as the avocado may turn the smoothie brownish if prepared long before serving.
