Legio Nova lunch plate - 22 cm

Legio Nova plates are robust enough for everyday use, and are obviously completely dishwasher-safe. With its refined grooves which elegantly frame the food and the glossy glazed surface, the Legio Nova dinner service is equally suited for dinner parties and festive events where you want to make your table particularly presentable. In addition to plates, the series also comprises bowls, serving dishes, jugs, vases and many other pieces that add the finishing touch to a well-laid table – and new pieces are being added all the time.

10-YEAR PORCELAIN WARRANTY

Legio Nova is high-quality porcelain which is ovenproof, microwave-safe and freezer-proof, and all the pieces in the series come with a 10-year porcelain warranty. So, if your plate breaks, or if the glaze crazes during normal everyday use, then we will replace it either with a new one or with a similar product. Read more here.

FROM OLE PALSBY TO THE NATIONAL CULINARY TEAM OF DENMARK

The Legio Nova design is based on the Legio tableware that was introduced in collaboration with the designer Ole Palsby in the late 1990s. While Legio is characterised by a minimalist design, the Legio Nova plates are more refined and detailed, and have been developed in collaboration with the National Culinary Team of Denmark. The design process was very much inspired by the team’s culinary art and by the care that goes into their craft. The central part of the plate is therefore framed by elegant grooves to enhance the food presentation. The two series go extremely well together, and can certainly be mixed and matched, as the grooves on the Legio Nova pieces contrast beautifully with the perfectly smooth Legio.
