Eva Solo is FSC-certified, which means that much of the wood we use in our products originates from responsibly managed forests.

FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council, which runs a global forest certification system for responsibly harvested wood and wood products. In an FSC forest, no more trees are felled than the forest can reproduce naturally. Equally, FSC-certified forestry operations seek to protect the biodiversity of fauna and flora in forests, and also to ensure that forestry workers are guaranteed training, safety equipment and a decent wage. A global control system enforces compliance with FSC certification requirements. This is achieved by inspectors visiting managed forests to verify that practices are responsible and sustainable. If they discover non-compliant activities, the wood from that forest cannot be FSC-approved. Another system enables all FSC-certified products to be traced back to the forest they originated from. As a consumer, by choosing FSC-certified products, you are helping to protect nature and safeguard the social conditions in the forest the wood was sourced from.
