The designer duo Claus Jensen and Henrik Holbæk can no longer be regarded as "budding designers" – they have become two of the most prize-winning and established designers in Denmark. Their most recent venture to woo consumers and win design prizes worldwide is a striking garlic press with a glass jar for storing any surplus cloves. An elegant combination which will look good on any kitchen surface – and always ready for use. The garlic press, which is made from reinforced plastic and aluminium, is of course not just for show – it is also incredibly functional, both to use and to clean. It does not have the conventional holes, which are so difficult to clean, but open slits, which makes it very easy to remove any garlic bits. Both the garlic press and the glass jar are dishwasher-proof.
