Kitchen hygiene has probably never been more important than it is today. Judging from newspaper headlines, it would seem that it is quite difficult to achieve a high enough standard of food hygiene. There are regular stories of new cases of food poisoning which can only be attributed to failing hygiene levels in the kitchen. These cases are often caused by the mixing of raw ingredients, vegetables and cooked food.
An easy way of trying to prevent such cases is by using three different chopping boards so that bacteria are not transferred from one to the other. It is already several years since EVA SOLO found a clever solution to this problem by introducing a set of three chopping boards with a practical aluminium holder. Each of the chopping boards features a small icon to illustrate what the individual board is intended for. This helps to introduce good habits in the kitchen so that raw ingredients, the cooked food and vegetables are always kept separate.
This set is now being launched in a new and exclusive version in mahogany. As most people know, mahogany is a very beautiful and durable wood type which also goes well with the many new kitchens which have been designed in the last few years. The striking mahogany comes from a government-controlled forest in the Philippines, which means that production methods are fully sustainable and do not threaten the rainforest.
