Terms of trade
The following terms apply to all purchases of products made through Eva Solo A/S’s online shop at www.evasolo.com. All information (including the present terms of trade) supplied on the website and in connection with the placing of orders is in English and the agreement is concluded in English.
These terms of trade are accepted by the customer when placing an order and can also be viewed on Eva Solo’s online shop at all times. Please read them carefully. These terms of trade will be updated regularly, and any changes will be posted at ww.evasolo.com.
Eva Solo online service
The shop section of www.evasolo.com is Eva Solo’s own online ordering, purchasing and information service. You can shop online 24 hours a day. We hope that you will enjoy shopping at our online shop.
Orders are processed Monday to Friday from 8 am - 4 pm. Orders received outside these hours will be processed the next working day.
Eva Solo collects information about you in various ways in connection with your use of evasolo.com. The guidelines below offer a more detailed description of the type of information we collect, how we process this information and whom you may contact if you have any questions or comments on our guidelines.
What information do we collect?
Eva Solo collects information about its users in two ways: through cookies and through registration.
In general, Eva Solo will only ask for personal and user-related information when you sign up for newsletters, competitions or other services. Personal information collected by Eva Solo is limited primarily to your email address, name, address, gender and age, but may also include other information such as interests etc.
When making a purchase on our website, Eva Solo A/S will ask for the customer’s name, address, telephone number and email address which are necessary to execute the order and which are used only to process the order. The information is transmitted and stored electronically in unencrypted form for five years.
If you wish, you can join our mailing list to receive the latest news and other information from Eva Solo. You can always register or deregister for this service at no cost to you.
Eva Solo does not save the names and email addresses of users who have deregistered for a service.
How do we protect your personal information?
It is important to Eva Solo that your personal information is stored in a secure and confidential manner. Access to all registered user data on evasolo.com is limited to trusted employees at Eva Solo A/S, and our security measures are reviewed on a regular basis to determine if information about our users is handled responsibly and in compliance with the user’s rights.
Unfortunately, data transmissions over the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure. When sending and storing data electronically, there is always a risk that others may unlawfully intercept protected data before they reach our servers. As a result, while Eva Solo strives to protect your personal information in the best possible way, we cannot ensure or warrant the safety of any information submitted by you, and you do so at your own risk.
With whom do we share personal information?
When you register at evasolo.com or submit information in any other way, Eva Solo will under no circumstances disclose or sell personally identifiable information to a third party without your express consent. Log files or other standard information will also not be disclosed or sold to a third party.
Changes to guidelines
The rapid development in Internet technology may necessitate changes to the way we process private information. Eva Solo therefore reserves the right to update and change the guidelines in the present document. When doing so, we will also adjust the ‘Last updated’ date at the bottom of the document. In the event of significant changes, Eva Solo will post a notification on evasolo.com.
Your acknowledgement and change/deletion of personal data
When you visit Eva Solo, you accept the above-mentioned guidelines.
If your personal information, such as your email address, changes, or if you no longer wish to use the services you have registered for at evasolo.com, you can update or delete your personal information by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
A final agreement between you and Eva Solo is considered to have been concluded when Eva Solo has confirmed your order. If Eva Solo is unable to fulfil your order due to products being sold out for example, we will contact you as soon as possible via email. You bear the responsibility and the risk for ensuring that the customer information entered is correct as Eva Solo does not subsequently validate or check this information.
Prices and payment
The applicable price is the price which is listed on the website next to the product in question on the date of ordering. We reserve the right to change prices with immediate effect. For UK residents: All prices are listed in GBP inclusive of Danish VAT, currently 25%. For all other EU residents excluding Sweden and Denmark: All prices are listed in Euro inclusive Danish VAT, currently 25%. For all other countries outside EU excluding Norway: All prices are listed in Euro and all costs related to duty are paid by the customer. Shipping costs are not included in the price. A shipping charge will be added to all orders placed through the website. The shipping costs can be seen on the order summary and the order confirmation sent via email. Eva Solo A/S accepts payment by Dankort/VISA-Dankort/MasterCard/Eurocard/JCB/AMEX. The amount will be charged to your account when we ship your purchase.
Eva Solo A/S encrypts all your account information with SSL (Secure Socket Layer). This means that no unauthorised persons can read your card number or other information while the transaction is being processed by PBS. Please also note that the page where you enter your card information looks different than the rest of the shop. This is because PBS requires that the page is secure and that the information is encrypted.
Eva Solo A/S arranges delivery of the order to the delivery address specified by the customer.
Your order is dispatched 2-6 working days after receipt of your order. As Eva Solo A/S cannot guarantee local delivery conditions, Eva Solo A/S cannot provide any certain guarantees as to when the order is delivered to the customer’s address. In cases where the desired product is not in stock at the time of ordering, we will contact you with further instructions. As a consumer you have the right to cancel your purchase if the entire service is delayed in relation to what was agreed.
We ship to Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, the EU and Norway. The delivery costs are stated on the order confirmation and are paid by the buyer. Please note that all costs related to duty is paid by the customer.
In the event of delivery outside the EU, the customer will have to pay for customs duties or VAT or any other taxes due to the import of products in the country of delivery. The customer is also solely responsible for the formalities related thereto unless otherwise specified. The customer is solely responsible for checking whether the products ordered can be imported under domestic law in the country of delivery.
Right to cancel purchase
You may return your purchase within 14 days from the date of receipt. If you wish to cancel your purchase, you only have to return the product in the same condition and quantity in which you received it. In connection with returning products, please complete the form. This form must be sent to Eva Solo max. 14 days after receiving the goods.As the packaging constitutes a significant part of the value of the product, the product will not be considered to have been returned in materially the same condition and quantity if the packaging is missing. The customer is responsible for ensuring that returns are securely packaged. We therefore recommend that you do not discard the packaging until you are sure that you want to keep the product. If the product is of high value you must return the product as registered mail. This way, you are insured if the parcel is lost in the mail. If the parcel is lost and you have not sent it as registered mail, shipping is at your own risk. Once we have received and approved the returned product, we will refund the purchase price (incl. handling and postage costs) to your account. The amount will be refunded as soon as Eva Solo A/S has received and checked the returned product, normally within 30 days of receipt of the product at the latest. Note that return postage costs are paid by the customer and will not be refunded. Please read the practical information under ‘Complaints and returns’.

Returns should also be sent to this address – note that we do not accept cash on delivery parcels. You can also return a product by refusing receipt or omitting collecting it at the post office.
It is not mandatory, but if you enclose a copy of the accompanying order confirmation/invoice and the bank account number to which a refund should be sent, and a copy of any previous correspondence, it will help to ensure that your case is processed quickly and efficiently. Eva Solo A/S expects you to return the goods as quickly as possible after you have informed us that you regret your purchase; you must return them within 14 days of doing so.
You can lose all or some of the money you paid for the goods. This will happen if the value of the product has deteriorated because:
- You have actually started to use the product.
- The product has been damaged while you were responsible for it.
- You have handled the product in a different way to what was necessary to state the product’s nature, properties and the way in which it functions.
Complaints - if the product is defective
Your purchase is covered by the Danish Sale of Goods Act (Købeloven), including the non-conformity rules. This means that you can either have a non-conforming product repaired or exchanged or receive a refund or a reduction in the price depending on the specific situation.
The complaint must obviously be justified, and the non-conformity must not have arisen as a result of the incorrect use of the product or other negligent behaviour.
You must contact us within a “reasonable period of time”
You must submit your complaint within a “reasonable period of time” of having discovered that the product is non-conforming. We suggest that you submit your complaint as quickly as possible, and certainly within two months of discovering any defect.

When returning the product, please provide as detailed a description as possible of the problem. It is a good idea to use our claims form. It is not a requirement, but it will facilitate our handling of the complaint and minimise the time it takes to process your claim.
In the case of justified complaints, we will refund reasonable freight charges
If the complaint is justified, we will, of course, refund the freight charges you paid to send the product back to us, assuming they are reasonable. If not, you must pay all freight charges, including what it costs for us to return the product to you after we have examined it; also, we can charge you an amount up to DKK [indsæt beløb] for checking the product.
Remember that the product must always be sent in suitable packaging, and make sure that you obtain proof of postage as you are responsible for the package/the products until we have received it/them. Therefore, keep your proof of postage, including details of postal charges as well as any track-and-trace number.
Please note! We do not receive packages which have been sent cash on delivery etc.
In the event of any agreed discounts, returns or prepaid products which are cancelled before dispatch, all or part of the purchase sum must be refunded. Refunds are usually paid via bank transfer, and Eva Solo A/S therefore requires information about the bank name, sort code, account number, swift code and IBAN number. This information is not sensitive and may be sent via email or other traditional correspondence.
These terms of trade and the prices, contract details and privacy guidelines posted on our website constitute the full agreement concerning our delivery of products to you.
